4:30-6:30pm- Sustainable Art Exhibit in Newcomb Basement (submit a piece of art!)
6:30-7:30pm- Dan Pabst (owner of Mudhouse) speaking in Cocke 115 about being a sustainable business in C’ville
Tuesday April 19th
12-1:30pm- The Life of Trees Nature Poetry and Short Story Reading and Book Swap in Garden VIII

1:30-3:30- Student Sustainability Poster Competition in the Rotunda Dome Room
3:30- Global Sustainability Minor Info Session in the Rotunda Dome Room
6:30- Black Gold Movie Screening in Campbell Hall Room 153 with UVA Food Collaborative. Refreshments from Whole Foods and coffee from Trager Brothers will be provided.
Wednesday April 20th
11-2pm- Green Career Fair in the Clark Mural Room, brought to you by Green Grounds
4-6pm- StudCo ESC’s Green Reception in Garden V for conversations and food with professors, students and administrators
5:30-6:30- Community Wind presentation with speaker Erin McFarland (formerly of Skyline Turbine) in Thornton D222
5:30-7:00- ”Future of Cycling” Bike Panel Discussion - Newcomb Hall Board Room. Join us for a panel discussion about the future of biking in Charlottesville, featuring Urban Planning Professor Tim Beatley and other local biking experts.
7:00-8:30- (Em)Powering America: The Future of Energy in the US. - Gordon Avenue Library - Partake in an evening of informal discussion about alternative energy sources and light refreshments. Presented in partnership with the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society.
Thursday April 21st
11-2pm- UVA Eco-Market in the Amphitheater

5-7pm- UVa Community Garden Potluck in their garden, along with music, gardening, and friends. Please bring a dish.
5:30- Janisse Ray, author of ‘Ecology of a Cracker Childhood’ will be speaking in Jefferson Hall (Hotel C) on the West Range. Brought to you by Brown College through ViEWS.
6-9pm- Traffic Skills 101 Bike Class at 1101 Millmont Street ($15 for UVA students, $30 for non-students)
10pm-late- Greek Recycling will host a Bar Night Fundraiser at The Backyard (on Elliewood, down from Take-it-Away) from 10PM till late on Thursday the 21st. Our 12oz. cups wil be sold for $5 at the door for the following drink specials at the bar; $2 Rails, $1 Lionshead Drafts. All money raised goes to help pay for the student run recycling service we provide to Fraternity Houses.
Friday April 22nd
12:30-2pm- Farm to Fork Luncheon (must enter raffle at the Art Show on Monday in order to come!)
2-3pm: Beyond Coal Earth Day Rally ft. Larry Gibson & Adam Hall @ Newcomb Hall Theater
Brought to you by StudCo, A&S Council, the Sierra Club, and UVA Beyond Coal
Larry Gibson and Adam Hall will be speaking out about the dangers of coal, sharing their personal experience as residents of the coalfields in West Virginia and leaders of the Keeper of the Mountains Foundation.
2-4 pm: UVA Bay Game Earth Day 7 University Gameplay, from 2-4 pm, in Shure Laboratory (Viz Lab), 2nd Floor, Campbell Hall. Via internet videoconferencing student teams from the US Naval Academy, GMU, William and Mary, Hampton, VCU, VT, and UVA will participate in the largest gameplay to date!
5:30- Poetry Reading by Janisse Ray at Ivy Creek Nature Center
6:30-8pm- No Impact Concert in the Campbell 153 featuring No B.S. Brass and Capoeira Resistencia
9-11pm- Trees on Fire @ The Jefferson (on the Downtown Mall)
Saturday April 23rd
